2008 Lost Scorecard Golf Tournament Date: June 27, 2008, Around Noon In 2007, Randy organized the inaugural Lost Scorecard Golf Tournament, intended solely as a way to get a bunch of fun-loving golfers on the course for golf and good times. In an effort to avoid excessively serious play, the tournament includes prizes for things such as most skips across the water on the 18th hole and the shot closest to the edge of the green on one of the par 3 holes. It also includes a yellow card system, under which golfers can be penalized for gloating over a good shot, standing over the ball too long before swinging or sipping a beverage, or other actions indicating excessive seriousness. Golfers with too many yellow card violations may be asked to sing a verse of the Hokey Pokey or make a contribution to the refreshment fund at the end of the tournament. Of course, the highlight of the tournament is gathering for refreshments after the 18th hole and watching the sunset from the patio of the Meadow Hills snack bar. We had so much fun last year, we’re looking forward to doing it again! Please join us this year! If you are interested, send Randy an email at golf@jrrobidapc.com. And, check back on our website.
